Bred by renowned begonia hybridizer Irene Nuss, who never collected royalties but did collect many gardening friends, this namesake cane begonia debuted circa 1965. A classic cane-type begonia, 'Irene Nuss' has tall, strong stems, jagged leaves in a beautiful bronze green, and large graceful trusses of bloom that flower for months on end.
