The most rare of flower colors, pure cobalt blue, is found in spades here. Cultivated since the late 17th century, it has trumpet-shaped flowers in a starburst pattern of blue, white, and yellow. A low growing gem for the front of the garden, pretty with signet marigold 'Lemon Gem' and Chinese-forget-me-not' Chill Out,' or allowed to weave among taller jasmine tobacco and feverfew 'Aureum.'
