These hens and chicks are festooned with fine silver hairs that can only be described as cobwebbing in appearance—so much so that the Greek word "arachne," meaning spider, was use to create its species name, arachnoideum. It will produce bright reddish-pink flowers and is perfect for hot spots in poor soils.
